Les soeurs Bianca et Sierra Cassady, après s'être perdues de vue durant des années, se retrouvent à Paris. Sortez votre anglais du dimanche :

SIERRA CASSADY: I was really surprised to hear from her. It was nothing that I could have anticipated whatsoever. I was very hesitant, because we weren't getting along and we hadn't spoken for a long time. But as soon as she arrived my heart opened up and we built up a whole new world together. The first moment of CocoRosie was one morning and we opened several bottles of champagne and spuke them all over my room and we were quite drunk. We got out this little tape recorder and we had a goal: to push "record" and let the recorder run for one hour and make a whole album without pushing "stop". What ended up was absolutely retarded: it was all just really bad rap and beat-boxing. But our goal was to make each song up noticeably different from the next. It was funny. After that little tape that we made, something was born in our minds and we were inspired. Bianca went down the streets and bought a four-track. The next day we began somehow very naturally and unconsciously and at the same time very seriously, just making music.
